Working to Build a Better World
Healing, Teaching and Transforming – One Heart at a Time
We work in partnership with Lama Gangchen World Peace Foundation, UN NGO, assisting them in providing financial support, resources and education to help people from all faiths, beliefs and economic situations.
Designed to touch and transform lives, our programs provide life-sustaining solutions to help people rise out of poverty, improve health, and experience greater meaning, peace and compassion in their lives.
We support Lama Gangchen World Peace Foundation in providing healthcare, education and environmental care to thousands of materially poor and disadvantaged people in developing countries, such as Tibet, India, Nepal, China, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and the Amazon/Brazil.
One of our main programs is Help in Action, headquartered in Italy. In Tibetan, Help in Action means, “Kiurok Tsochun”, or help for the poorest and most forgotten. In many of the regions served by this program, conditions are very extreme. Village schools are rare and most villagers cannot afford to send their children to school. Most villages do not have access to clean water and basic sanitary services are nonexistent.
There are no healthcare facilities in many villages and those in the cities are inaccessible due to lack of transportation. In these regions, life expectancy is short and a high infant mortality rate is the norm. People still die of easily curable diseases, such as tuberculosis and commonly treatable eye diseases. Infections are wide spread.
Working to address these challenges, our Help in Action Program provides the following solutions:

Long Distance Adoptions supports children, families, the elderly and sick, and monks and nuns living in monasteries. For as little as $400.00 a year per sponsorship, children and others are given the chance to go to school, receive school supplies, clothing, food, healthcare and housing, helping them to rise out of poverty and improve their quality of life. |

Educational Programs provide education to thousands of needy children who would otherwise not have access to primary and secondary education. We build and administrate schools and provide vocational training for adults in some of the poorest regions. |

Water Projects provide clean, safe drinking water, reducing the impact of water-born illness and disease, especially in children. Construction of aqueducts allows, not only for potable drinking water, but also for irrigation of crops, providing the opportunity for improved harvests and adequate food to eat. |

Electrification Projects provide electricity to remote areas through the installation of solar panels and power generated from aqueducts that have been built to provide water. |

Environmental Projects provide solutions and education on the importance of protecting the environment, with a deep understanding of the interdependence of the individual and our collective responsibility for taking care of the environment. For decades, we have planted over 100,000 trees as part of reforestation projects, providing protection from landslides and erosion, cultivation of fruits and vegetables and the preservation and revitalization of precious resources. |
