Working to Build a Better World
Healing, Teaching and Transforming – One Heart at a Time
"It isn’t enough to talk about peace. One must believe in it.
And it isn’t enough to believe in it. One must work at it."
-Eleanor Roosevelt

Most of us in the West are lucky enough to have a formal education, with an understanding of science, math, reading and writing to ready us for a vocation and career. However, formal education provides few lessons for dealing with our emotions, the meaning of our lives, our relationships to others and the environment in which we live.
Our society is becoming increasingly violent. We see the impact everywhere we look: in films, television, schools and in the workplace. Children in schools live in fear of guns, modern medicine subjects us to side effects that harm the body and mind, war has taken many lives and brought much suffering, our families are fragmented and isolated, road rage is prevalent and many people know their computers better than their neighbors. Stress is at an all-time high, contributing to heart disease, depression, high blood pressure and “dis-ease”. |
The most lasting approach to ending this violence is on the individual level.
- If we want to have peace and harmony in our communities, we must find peaceful solutions within ourselves.
- If we want our children to grow up in a peaceful world, we must start with them first, educating them in non-violence and peace.
- If we want less violence, we must address the causes of violence on the micro and macro levels.
Our programs focus on the type of education that reconnects us with our inner nature, helping us to develop positive and peaceful emotions to live with more harmony and respect. Our classes and workshops include teachings in:
- Inner-Peace Education
- Conflict Resolution
- Non-Violence in the Workplace
- Interfaith Dialogues
- Stress Reduction
